Welcome to Coastal Landmark Quilts!

My name is Cheryl Forester. I'm an artist that specializes in a unique combination of painting and quilting. I paint structures (historic buildings, private homes, etc.) and landscapes using acrylics on fabric. Then, I quilt the painting so it looks like pen and ink, and finish it with a quilted border. The result is a one-of-a-kind wall hanging that is perfect as a gift or room centerpiece.

I work with both current and past homes. If you have a nice, clear picture of the home you want painted, I can duplicate it on fabric. This is perfect for childhood homes and other houses that are no longer in existence.

Do you have a building or location that holds fond memories? Perhaps a family vacation spot or the fountain where you became engaged? Display it in a unique form. I paint and quilt various buildings and structures.
